Peijia Deng is a moving image producer from Guangzhou, China, now based in the UK. She has contributed creatively to film, production, coordination, planning and advertising campaigns.

 

As a team player she is adaptable and professional with experience of working on commissioned projects including film, commercials, documentaries and festival. She graduated from Teesside University with first-class degree in Film and Television Production and studying Film, Exhibition and Curation in Edinburgh University as MSc.​

A selection of the short films she has worked on have been premiered at CYIFF 2021, Prague Film Festival, Hong Kong International Youth and Druk International Film Festival. Spring,Flowers Bloom also won the following awards: Best Public Service Short Film (Hong Kong International Youth), Best Children Short Film (Cyprus International Film Festival).

She assisted with promoting the Animal Nature Future Film Festival (ANFFF) in the UK, participating in planning regional film festival activities and collaborating with local communities, educational organisation, and charitable organizations to expand the festival’s audience. During her studies, she founded a film society and successfully organized thematic screenings and youth film events, which helped promote Chinese films and the works of young directors, while also fostering viewing habits within the local community.
